Catalina Sandino Moreno has been cast as Maria in "Eclipse". Maria is the vampire that turned Jasper from human to vampire. She was also the vampire to make Jasper head of her newborn army. Read more about her character...

Personal History: Maria found Jasper in Texas after he’d helped evacuate a city. She saw something special in him–she called him "compelling"–and changed him instead of letting the others kill him. She trained him to kill other vampires and eventually put him in charge of her army.
Jasper helped her win many battles, including the one against the traitorous Nettie and Lucy, and she rewarded him well. After a few decades, though, Jasper became depressed and Maria contemplated killing him. It was at this point that Jasper disappeared with Peter (EC13).

Twilight’s newest hires Bryce Dallas Howard and Xavier Samuel take a walk together after leaving their the hotel in Vancouver, Canada on Wednesday afternoon (August 12).
It was recently announced that Maria Full of Grace star Catalina Sandino Moreno has joined the Eclipse cast as vampire Maria, a woman who tries to create a newborn army of vampires, recruiting the Confederate soldier Jasper to her cause.
Im so excited because Eclipse is one of the favorite books in the Saga. It seems like its gonna be a really great movie!
Kristen's Breakdown
While making the first movie, Summit kept urging Stewart and Pattinson to ease up on the teenage angst. Now Stewart’s diving headlong into heartache. She says she reached her breaking point while filming the pivotal scene where Edward abandons her. “Before the scene, I was sitting in my car, like f---ing crying – crying so hard you can’t breathe,” she says. “Because I was really overwhelmed and intimidated by the scene. Everyone says, ‘She better be able to pull off the emotion in this movie!’ And it’s such an important moment in the book, when he leaves.” The scene exhausted her. “I’m thinking, ‘We have to be done now,’” she remembers. “‘Just tell me we’re done.’”
In the end, she’s very positive about how the film turned out. “[Making Twilight] was much more of a fight,” says Stewart. “Everyone was a little more scared. We needed to make something commercial but stay true to the book. We didn’t have enough money. It was all very impulsive, and that’s what I love about that f---ing movie…But I think New Moon is gonna be even better.”

The “90210” star confirmed to us that Robert Pattinson is officially dating one of his co-stars. “I can’t say [if it’s Kristen Stewart or Nikki Reed], because that would be breaking my promise to [husband Peter Facinelli], but he is dating one of them!” Garth said at TJ Maxx’s Save the Children event in NYC. Facinelli plays Pattinson’s dad in the “Twilight” movies.
Congrats to Kristen — because we know the hunky Brit has been done with Reed for a very, very long time.

Taylor Lautner and Kellan Lutz Land in Vancouver
Gearing up for their upcoming “Eclipse” shoot, Taylor Lautner and Kellan Lutz were spotted arriving at Vancouver International Airport yesterday (August 10).
The “Twilight” studs both attracted plenty of paparazzi attention as they made their way through the terminal together.
And of course, both gentlemen took a few minutes of their precious time to meet a few fans and sign autographs before heading off on their way.
Taylor and Kellan were coming from Los Angeles where they attended the 2009 Teen Choice Awards on Sunday night.

Ashley Greene's Nude Pictures
According to uk.eonline the naked pictures of Ashley Greene were illegally put on the Internet. I haven't seen theses pictures and don't plan on seeing them either. I'm really sad about this because as a teen i really look up to Ashley and i cant believe this happened. She is one of my role models and every blog post i comment on how beautiful and elegant she is. I'm just speechless about this whole thing.

Volturi are not naked! Jamie (Campbell-Bower) has what you might call a
dry sense of humor and almost managed to convince me — which is why he’s
such a good actor. Anyway, be assured that, even though we do want the
look of the Volturi to be a bit of a surprise, they are always — as in
the book! — fully clothed.
